MaD - Making a Difference for Good in Cambodia

vMaD is the volunteer recruitment arm of MaD - Making a Difference for Good!

MaD is- a community based non profit organization registered as a charity in Australia, Cambodia & the USA.

We work in PARTNERSHIP with rural communities with the primary aim of EMPOWERING individuals, families and villages with the knowledge and resources they need to build themselves a SUSTAINABLE future free from poverty.

Our work is focused in the Bakong District of Siem Reap Province in the North West of Cambodia, near the legendary temple of Angkor Wat.

Every member of the MaD family is dedicated to helping the people of Cambodia, and we focus our efforts on two main charitable programs:

Rural Community Development Program :: working in partnership with rural communities on the household level, helping to provide access to clean water, hygienic sanitation facilities and safe residential housing.
Children's Welfare Program :: includes child care, English language tuition, and a mobile health and hygiene clinic offering regular checkups, medical treatments and educational services at local schools and children's centres.
